Susi Susanti


 I really like badminton, so Susi Susanti is my favorite idol in my sport hobby. Actually, there are many other badminton athletes who are my idols, but I chose Susi Susanti as the topic to be discussed because she is one of the most famous Indonesian female athletes in the world.

And also Susi Susanti comes from Tasikmalaya, just like me. She is my inspiration to pursue my dream of becoming a badminton athlete too. Initially, when I was in 5th grade, I thought about stopping practice badminton. Because many of my friends are better than me, but when the film Susi Susanti was released, I was inspired again to practice until I finally to be a champion at badminton match.

Susi Susanti is the only female athlete to win a gold medal from Indonesia in 1992-1994. She was nicknamed the badminton ballerina, because she was the only Indonesian female athlete who played beautifully, was agile, fast and full of energy at her time.
